The Philosophical Society of Texas will hold the 181st annual meeting in Dallas on February 15 - 17, 2019, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Kay Bailey Hutchison, 2018-2019 President, and Daniel H. Branch, 2019 Program Chair, are preparing a program on the subject of “New Frontiers in Texas Research and Innovation."

In a part with recent tradition, the meeting will open with a session at 2:30 on Friday afternoon at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Friday evening’s festivities will be held at Old Parkland.

On Saturday, meeting sessions will be held at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will offer optional tours before the Saturday evening festivities begin at the George W. Bush Presidential Complex. 

The Business Meeeing is the sole activity on Sunday morning and will be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.

Transportation to all events will be provided from the Hilton Anatole Hotel.

Meeting Attire: All events are business attire.

Please note: The Annual Meetings of the Philosophical Society of Texas are open to all members of the Society, to their guests, and to the spouses of late members. The meetings are closed to the public.
