The Philosophical Society of Texas will hold the 181st annual meeting in Dallas on February 15-17, 2019, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. President Kay Bailey Hutchison and Program Chair Dan Branch are preparing a program on the subject of “New Frontiers in Texas Research and Innovation."
An optional docent-led tour of of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will be offered on Friday morning. The lunch for tour attendees will include a presentation about the Library's and Museum's holdings
The meeting will open with a session at 3:00 on Friday afternoon at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
On Saturday, meeting sessions will be held at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The George W. Bush Presidential Center will be the site for the Saturday evening festivities.
The Business Meeeing is the sole activity on Sunday morning and will be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel before the Annual Meeting adjourns at 9:15 am.
Transportation to all events will be provided from the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
Meeting Attire: All daytime events are business casual. Evening events are business attire.
Please note: The Annual Meetings of the Philosophical Society of Texas are open to all members of the Society, to their guests, and to the spouses of late members. The meetings are closed to the public.
