Meeting Announcement Postcard

The Philosophical Society of Texas will hold the 180th annual meeting in San Antonio on February 2 - 4, 2018, at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel. Edward G. Steves, 2017-2018 President, and Ricardo Rome, 2018 Program Chair, are preparing a program on the subject of “Cybersecurity."

Plans for the optional tours on Friday will be available soon.

Friday evening’s festivities will begin at the Briscoe Museum of Western Art overlooking the San Antonio Riverwalk. The opening reception will be followed with the induction of new members and a seated dinner. Saturday’s sessions will be held at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel. On Saturday evening, attendees will have a reception and river barge transport to Club Giroud for a seated dinner. Both evenings, alternative transport will be provided. Both venues have parking for those who opt to drive.

Hotel acoomodations will be available soon.

Meeting Attire:
All events are business attire. Friday tour attendees should wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking.

Please note: The Annual Meetings of the Philosophical Society of Texas are open to all members of the Society, to their guests, and to the spouses of late members. The meetings are closed to the public.
